The aid organization H.Á.L.A., led by animal rights activist Beata Szojka, works around the clock, with a great deal of passion and love for animals, to ensure the welfare and survival of dogs in Hungary.

Thanks to your donations, we have already been able to help many dogs in the rescue centers in Hungary in recent years. For example, with product donations for numerous
facilities such as dog houses and food and water bowls.

The donations are collected in a fund and 100% donated to the target project for 2023. Sanilu will double the amount donated by our customers at the end of the year 🥰

Donations to H.Á.L.A. Dog Rescue 2024

In 2024, thanks to your generous support, we were able to raise a total of 913,38 CHF were raised. Our goal was to double this amount by the end of the year in order to reach a total of 1,826.76 CHF to H.Á.L.A. at the beginning of 2025.

But in December 2024, we received an urgent call for help from the organization: an exceptionally harsh winter was imminent and there was a shortage of dog kennels to protect the animals from the icy cold. In order to be able to help quickly, before the end of the year we 1.011,50 € (corresponds to 948.70 CHFas at 16.01.2025) to provide robust dog kennels for the dogs in Hungary.

We have attached the photos of the payment to the provider of the dog kennels as well as of the arrival of the kennels and the dogs curiously exploring them. They give you an impression of how urgently your help is needed and how much difference it makes.

The remaining 878,06 CHF from the planned total amount will be transferred to H.Á.L.A. in the coming days so that other dogs in need can also receive support. Of course, we will also document this step with pictures.

Animal shelters are an important institution for our society as they offer homeless animals a safe haven and a chance of a new home. However, many shelters rely on donations to continue their work and help animals in need. There are many reasons why you should donate to animal shelters, and one of them is gratitude.

Our employee Christopher also adopted a dog from a Romanian dog welfare organization in 2015. On 24.10.23 we celebrated the eighth birthday of dear Dexter.
