Question:
Do I have to pay for delivery and if so, how much?
Yes, for all orders under 190 CHF delivery costs of 14.95 CHF / 49 CHF for XL packages will be charged. For standard packages, these are completely eliminated from 190 CHF.
Bulky goods surcharges of CHF 199 may apply for selected bulky agricultural products. These shipping costs are waived from an amount of 2900 CHF. Excess length surcharges of CHF 299 may apply for selected forwarding goods that are excessively long. These shipping costs are also eliminated from an amount of 2900 CHF.
Sanilu does not charge a small quantity surcharge.
The shipping costs include the following components:
- Packing the goods
- Packaging material
- Shipping fees (which will have increased again from 2026)
For the sake of the environment and to keep shipping costs as low as possible for you, we also use cardboard boxes or disposable pallets that have already been used.
Question:
What does delivery on disposable pallets mean?
Large, heavy or assembled items are delivered on disposable pallets. In order to keep shipping costs as low as possible, we use disposable pallets for these deliveries.
Disposable pallets are intended for one-time use. We will not pick them up and we will not dispose of them either.
Delivery by truck/haulage company takes place at an unloading point. The unloading point must be accessible by truck with trailer (40 tons) or tractor-trailer (40 tons). Always indicate any obstacles to delivery (e.g. narrow entrances, limited access options), as this may lead to significant delivery difficulties. Delivery takes place curbside. Sanilu GmbH reserves the right to charge for unsuccessful delivery attempts and new deliveries that were not caused by it.
Question:
What does curbside delivery with disposable pallets mean?
Unless otherwise agreed, delivery to the curb is standard.
Curbside delivery means that our shipping partner brings your delivery to the curb and unloads it there. With this delivery method, the product you ordered will not be transported to your front door or to the place you intended to use it.
Please note that for curbside delivery our shipping partner requires a road to be traveled on. If you are unsure, please send us a message.
Question:
What does delivery with disposable pallets mean to the place of use?
This service costs additionally.
Delivery to point of use means that a delivery team from our shipping partner or Sanilu's assembly team will bring your order to your desired location. For example in the apartment or in the garden. The prerequisite for this is that you or another person can assist our chauffeur. If this cannot be feasible, write us a message.
The Sanilu assembly team or our shipping partner will contact you by telephone to arrange a suitable delivery date.
Please note that a road is required for delivery to the place of use. In addition, good access to your front door/garden and to your desired location must be guaranteed. Above all, please ensure that the product dimensions do not exceed the size of your front door as well as the size of your doors and bottlenecks up to the intended place of use.
In case of ambiguity write us a message.
Question:
What happens if I'm not at home when the delivery is made?
What happens if you are not home when the delivery occurs depends on who is making the delivery.
For deliveries with Planzer / DPD / DHL for parcel and bulky goods shipping, the following applies:
You will receive a pickup invitation. You can book a new delivery.
When delivered on a disposable pallet:
You will receive a message from our shipping partner that the delivery could not be carried out at the agreed time.
Our shipping partner will arrange a second delivery with you for a fee.
If you have any questions or are unclear, please feel free to contact Sanilu customer service at any time.
