The PATURA scratching mat makes a further contribution to animal welfare. Grooming is a basic need for many animal species, regardless of age or breed. Parasites, mites or even dirt mean that every suitable place is used for scratching. Injuries caused by sharp edges on concrete or metal parts are often the result. The new scratching mat increases comfort in stables,
as it can be attached to almost any concrete wall or concrete base. Thanks to the individual and space-saving attachment, a sufficient number of scratching mats can significantly reduce the stress level in the stable and herd. The lower part of the scratching mat is without studs to protect the legs and also covers the lower concrete edge.
