The bird feeder can only be linked to one user account at a time. If you want to connect the device to a new account, you must first reset it to unlink the existing connection.

However, you can share the bird feeder with other users by adding their accounts to your family group in the app.

It is important that the person you want to share with has downloaded the "Bird Lover" app.

There are three ways to share the device with others:

1. Click on the "Share" icon on the homepage (My Home). This allows you to send an invitation via a link.

2. In Family Management, set up a home and then add the member. Again, you can do this via a link that you can send.

3. Share your account name and password with others; they can log in with the same account.

The camera only supports 2.4 GHz WiFi. Connection to a 5 GHz WiFi network is not possible.

Yes, the smart bird feeder from Sanilu is made of weather-resistant materials and protects the camera and the food from rain, snow, and direct sunlight all year round.

The feeder is easy to open so you can refill food and clean the inside. It is recommended to clean the feeder regularly to prevent mold growth and food spoilage.

As soon as the camera detects movement, you will receive a real-time notification on your smartphone, so you instantly know when a bird is at the feeder.

Yes, the camera is equipped with a night vision function, allowing you to capture clear images and videos even in the dark.

If the WiFi connection is lost, the camera will continue to record videos, which will be saved once the connection is restored.

The bird feeder is designed for use in temperatures from -20.5°C to 48.5°C, ensuring reliable operation even under extreme weather conditions.

The feed container has a capacity of 2.5 liters, which is sufficient to feed many birds for a longer period.

The bird feeder comes with a 64GB memory card, offering ample space to store numerous videos and pictures of bird activities.

In autumn and winter, it is recommended to fully charge the solar panel with the included USB cable before use.
The solar module was designed such that the batteries in the solar module must first be charged, and then, once a certain amount of energy is stored, it is released to charge the camera. This ensures that the solar panel functions well even without sunlight.

The solar panel has an indicator light:

Red light: Solar panel batteries are charging.
Green light: Batteries are fully charged and can power the camera.

Our camera requires a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network for setup and operation. Direct use exclusively via mobile data is therefore not possible.

Basically, the camera can also be connected via a smartphone hotspot. However, two devices are required for this:

a smartphone that provides the hotspot (Wi-Fi)
a second smartphone or tablet to use the Birdlover app for setting up and using the camera.

Unfortunately, the connection currently does not work with only one smartphone (hotspot and app simultaneously).

If Wi-Fi is not available at your location, a mobile Wi-Fi router with a SIM card (LTE router) can be used as an alternative. This creates a permanent Wi-Fi network to which the camera can connect.

If you encounter problems, it often helps to reset the camera of the bird feeder. The operating instructions describe how to do this. We have also prepared a video for you, which shows the process of resetting the camera.
