The feed fence is the central structural element in a playpen. The feed fence "works" correctly if it is suitable for the age of the animals and their type of use and is installed at the correct height. Also, the "correct" feed fence only fulfills its function if the "environment", i.e. the floor space, feed table partition and feed table are suitable.
