Black long-term mineral substrate for all planted aquariums. This culture medium was specially developed to be used in combination with black gravel. It is based on the natural model and contains all the knowledge from over 50 years of aquarium plant research.

The fine-grained basalt granules create an optimum soil climate, while the concentrated nutrient iron in depot form ensures lush green leaves. Selected clay minerals (montmorillonite) regulate the nutrient balance by releasing nutrients when required and absorbing them when there is an oversupply. The humic-rich natural peat ensures a slightly acidic soil environment and absorbs nutrients in a way that is suitable for plants. The highly porous lava granules promote the natural bio-filter function of the substrate, which leads to better water quality and healthier fish.

The mixture is already naturally moist, which means that clay minerals and humus substances are immediately biologically active. Thanks to the professional nutrient formula, the substrate is highly effective and enables rapid growth of all aquarium plants. All nutrients and trace elements are available in depot form with immediate and long-term effects. Deponit-Mix Black ensures reliable growth and strong root formation, even for sensitive plant species. The nutrient soil contains no additional phosphates or nitrates and therefore does not promote algae growth.
