Ideal fĂŒr:
The thermostat is connected between the socket and the heating system. If the temperature falls below a certain level, the system is automatically switched on. If there is no longer a risk of frost, the system is automatically switched off again.
The switching criterion for the frost protection thermostat is the air temperature. With pipe contact thermostats, the temperature of the water pipe (=water temperature) is used as the switching criterion.
The cost of thermostats pays for itself relatively quickly, as the system is only in operation when absolutely necessary. The electricity savings are considerable, depending on the system output. In addition, in contrast to manual activation, it is always guaranteed that the heating is in operation when there is a risk of frost. Ideally, the thermostats should be placed at the coldest point.
Advantages:
- For mounting on the water pipe
- For automatically switching on the self-regulating heating cable
- up to max. 16 A / 230 V (max. switching capacity 1.5 kW)
- 0 - 120 degrees adjustable
- Degree of protection IP54
- splash-proof
