One variant of the calf hutches is made of a robust and durable plastic (HDPE), while the second variant of the calf hutches is made of GRP. Both types provide your calves with optimum protection from rain and excessive sunlight. The smooth surfaces of the calf hutches enable thorough and hygienic cleaning. As an extension, any variant of the PATURA calf hutches can be fitted with a fence. This fencing has an access door with an integrated teat bucket holder, which can also be built directly into the hutch if required. Other accessories such as a hay rack or feed bowls can easily be attached to the fencing. The calf hutches can be used both indoors and outdoors. If the farmer opts for a calf hutch with fencing, he is also opting for greater animal welfare thanks to more space, visual contact with the neighboring calves and a choice between 2 climate zones: the covered calf hutch and fencing in the open air.
