DENNERLE Profi-Line CO2 long-term test Correct + pH

Simple and precise control of the CO2 content in the aquarium. This ensures that the CO2 is always in the optimum range. Depending on the CO2 content, the special CO2 indicator reacts with a color change:

Blue = too little CO2
Green = optimum CO2
Yellow = too much CO2.

With the six-color comparison scale, the amount of CO2 in the aquarium can be read directly in milligrams per liter. This makes it easy and safe to set the correct amount of CO2 to be added. Particularly simple and accurate thanks to the special CO2 indicator. Conventional long-term CO2 tests are carried out with a mixture of aquarium water and indicator. Disadvantage: The acids contained in the aquarium water (e.g. humic acids, nitrate, etc.) can falsify the test result. In addition, other CO2 tests require prior measurement of the carbonate hardness, as they actually only measure the pH value. The Dennerle CO2 long-term test Correct, on the other hand, uses a ready-to-use special CO2 indicator that is not mixed with aquarium water, but is used pure.
Not suitable for measuring the content of liquid carbon fertilizers in aquarium water, such as Dennerle Carbo Booster Max or Carbo Elixier Bio, as these do not contain CO2 (carbon dioxide) but other carbon compounds.
The decisive advantages:
Simple: No additional measurement of carbonate hardness is required. Only a single color comparison scale is required.
Safe: The CO2 long-term test Correct + pH always shows the CO2 content correctly - regardless of other acids in the aquarium water, e.g. humic acids. Changes in carbonate hardness due to hardening, evaporation or water changes also have no influence.
Precise: The CO2 long-term test Correct + pH enables direct determination of the CO2 content in milligrams per liter - without additional water measurements or laborious conversion of table values. Even with low carbonate hardness!
Measurement of the pH value
In addition to the CO2 content, the pH value can also be displayed using a 6-color scale. This depends on the carbonate hardness. A corresponding 6-color scale is included in the scope of delivery for each carbonate hardness measured.
