Heating plate made of robust plywood, adjustable to the exact degree. Available to match our wooden dog kennels, can also be custom-made.
Electronically controlled heating plate
To keep the risk of infection for your dog as low as possible during the wet and cold season, we recommend our heating plates. Wet fur dries faster and does not pose a health risk. Even on cold frosty nights, your four-legged friend will feel comfortable on the temperature-controlled surface. Lying on the heating mat creates a pleasant build-up of heat for the dog. The heating plate therefore provides the animal with more warmth than the temperatures that can be measured when not in use would suggest. The plates should not get hot, as the fur will make it too warm for the animal.
Installation in an existing dog kennel is possible without any problems.
Technical details:
- The electronically controlled heating panel consists of a robust, scratch-resistant and waterproof glued plywood panel in which the heating cables and the temperature sensor are incorporated; total thickness approx. 21 mm.
- An approx. 3 m long cable leads from the heating plate to the splash-proof control housing, in which a transformer ensures that the heating plate is only operated with low voltage of around 20 volts. This means safety for people and animals.
- The temperature is freely selectable with the control unit and can be set to the exact degree from approx. 15°C to approx. 32°C.
- The power consumption is 150 to 180 watts per m² in the heating phase.
- Proven electronics ensure that the set floor temperature in the hut is not exceeded or fallen short of. The plate is only heated up until the desired temperature is reached.
- There is an approx. 3 m long cable on the control unit to connect the heating plate to a 230-volt socket.
To ensure that the heating plate fits exactly into your dog kennel, special dimensions up to a size of of 3 m² can be made, with side lengths of maximum 125 x 250 cm. When measuring the size, please ensure that the panel is ordered one centimeter smaller on each side than the actual inside dimensions of the hut. The resulting gap can then be filled with silicone to prevent liquid from running behind the heating panel.
For animal shelters, kennels and other facilities, control units can be manufactured that can regulate 4 heating plates simultaneously.
