Recommendation
Application example* for night pen with approx. 100 sheep:
A pen made of metal netting 90 cm or better 110 cm high (alternatively, pasture fence nets are also possible); in front of this, at a distance of at least 2 m, an electric fence made of highly conductive netting 90 cm or better 106 cm high. This creates a buffer zone between the predator and the animals to be protected. It also ensures that the animals do not run over the nets in panic. If only electric nets are used, the pen must be made correspondingly larger so that the sheep still have enough space in the pen.
