Juwel Nitrax. Juwel Nitrax is a filter medium that significantly reduces algae growth in your aquarium. Nitrax contains special microorganisms and is a purely biological filter medium for decomposing toxic metabolic products (ammonium and nitrite). Nitrax reduces algae growth through the anaerobic decomposition of nitrate and thus also promotes the vitality of your fish.
It is suitable for both fresh and salt water. Easy to clean under lukewarm tap water.
