Locking bar for calf feeding and drinking stand

The new feeding and drinking stand supports the farmer in modern calf rearing. Dairy farms that use techniques such as milk shuttles for calf feeding can feed their animals here in a targeted manner. The side partitions and the rear locking of each individual box allow for calm and controlled feeding and watering. This ensures that each individual calf consumes sufficient milk and feed according to its needs. If the farmer wants to separate his calves for a short time in the stall, this can be done with the rear locking system and the sensitive head area of the animals is not affected.
For optimum functionality, the calves must be accustomed to the locking position from the outset. It is recommended that these are fitted every second place on the support posts of the feeding and drinking stall. A locking unit can open and close up to 4 spaces simultaneously.
