DENNERLE Profi-Line CO2 Special-Indicator + pH

The Dennerle CO2 long-term test Correct + pH permanently and accurately monitors the CO2 content in the aquarium. The CO2 content can be read off directly in milligrams per liter using the six-color comparison scale. This allows the correct amount of CO2 to be added easily and safely.

Meaning of the color reactions:

Yellow = too much CO2
Yellow-green = too much CO2
Green = CO2 optimal
Green-blue = little CO2
Blue = too little CO2

Particularly simple and accurate thanks to the CO2 Special-Indicator:
Conventional long-term CO2 tests are carried out with a mixture of aquarium water and indicator. One disadvantage is that the acids contained in the aquarium water (e.g. humic acids, nitrate, etc.) can falsify the test result. In addition, other CO2 tests require the carbonate hardness to be measured beforehand, as they actually only measure the pH value. The Dennerle CO2 long-term test Correct, on the other hand, uses a ready-to-use CO2 Special-Indicator, which is used without mixing with aquarium water. This lasts for 5 months!
