The principle
Water comes out of the ground at a temperature of approx. 10 degrees and fills the drinking container until the balls close the drinking holes. When animals drink, the used water is refilled via a float valve. The energy of the overflowing water keeps it warm when it is cold and cool when it is hot. Using special aluminum basin trays, fresh, clean and algae-free water is always provided at -30 degrees as well as at +30 degrees without the addition of energy. Thanks to the good heat conduction of the aluminum, the water in the aluminum tray does not freeze.
