The SureFlap XXL cat door in white recognizes cats using its unique microchip and only opens for your pet. This prevents strays or cats from the neighborhood from entering the house. The cat door recognizes the pet's existing microchip, eliminating the need for a collar. It is compatible with all common microchip formats and can store up to 32 microchip numbers. The door works on 4 x AA batteries and lasts up to 12 months. It consists of 2 parts for easy installation and fits in doors up to 6cm thick without additional accessories. The cat door can also be installed in glass from 3mm to 6cm thick, with a mounting adapter required for all glass installations. For non-chipped animals, the RFID collar tag can be used.
