The Dennerle CO2 Plant Fertilizer Set Reusable 300 Space is a complete set for aquariums with a water volume of up to 300 liters. CO2 partially dissolves in the water as carbonic acid. CO2 can be used to adjust the pH value of the aquarium water to optimum, near-natural values for fish and plants. Aquarium fish in particular prefer slightly acidic water as it has a positive effect on their sensitive skin. In addition, important trace elements are made more readily available for plants and fish. Limescale deposits on the plant leaves are avoided. Good plant growth leads to a reduction in algae. In aquariums with well-growing aquatic plants, algae hardly stand a chance as the plants immediately absorb the algae-promoting nutrients such as phosphates and nitrates. However, if there is a lack of CO2, plant growth stagnates and excess nutrients are not consumed quickly enough. This gives algae the opportunity to grow even with small amounts of CO2. Good planting and regular CO2 fertilization are therefore important preventative measures against algae growth.

The Dennerle CO2 reusable system is the classic way of CO2 fertilization and consists of a refillable CO2 reusable cylinder. It is ideal if there is a CO2 filling station nearby. The cylinder only needs to be purchased once and can be refilled again and again. It is particularly suitable for large aquariums and those with a higher CO2 requirement. The included Evolution Space pressure reducer has an adjustment knob for easy operation and ensures a constant number of bubbles thanks to Dynamic Valve Control (DVC). The pressure reducer is equipped with an integrated solenoid valve for switching off the CO2 supply at night and an LED display of the switching status. It is operated with 9V safety extra-low voltage. With an adapter, the CO2 system can also be used with disposable cylinders.
