EHEIM carbon filter media for external filters

EHEIM KARBON. Eheim Karbon filter media is particularly suitable for external filters.
Activated carbon for clear aquarium water - especially recommended for new setups. Eheim Karbon is particularly suitable for clarifying the water during the initial phase of the aquarium. Chlorine from tap water and other chemical substances that have entered the aquarium during setup are reliably adsorbed. Eheim Karbon is used for a short period of time (about 4 weeks) in a layered structure after the mechanical filter media (e.g. EHEIM MECH or MECHpro) and the biological media (e.g. Eheim SUBSTRATpro).
Only suitable for freshwater.
EHEIM KARBON is available in 2 packaging sizes: 1 liter and 2 liters.
Eheim Karbon belongs to adsorptive filter media. Only use adsorptive filter media for about 4 weeks. Since the pollutants only adhere, they can dissolve again after some time and be transported back into the water. Regular replacement is necessary at least. Adsorptive filtration is only necessary during the initial phase of the aquarium or after the use of medications.
