DENNERLE CO2 Maxi-Flipper

The Dennerle CO2 Flipper is a powerful, compact device for adding CO2 with an integrated bubble counter function for aquariums with a capacity of up to 300 liters. The Dennerle CO2 Flipper works extremely effectively. Despite its compact design, it has a long travel distance so that the CO2 bubbles have sufficient time to dissolve. It is equipped with a CO2 collection tray and a false gas vent. A motor drive is not required.

How the Dennerle CO2 Flipper works:
The CO2 bubbles emerge at the bottom of the flipper outlet and rise upwards along the bars. Part of the CO2 dissolves in the aquarium water. The remainder collects in the collection tray and is released into the water from there. While the CO2 bubbles rise upwards in the flipper, other gases that are naturally dissolved in the aquarium water enter the bubbles at the same time. These so-called false gases are significantly lighter than the relatively heavy CO2 and therefore collect at the top of the collection tray. There they are regularly discharged through the specially dimensioned false gas vent. The heavy CO2, on the other hand, is located at the bottom in the gas cushion at the interface with the water. The dimensions of the device are 9x25x4 cm.
